Types

• INOX A2 (AISI 304) Hex Nut:
  • Material Composition: Contains approximately 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Offers good resistance to oxidation and corrosion in various atmospheric conditions and mild chemical environments. It performs well in freshwater and typical outdoor exposures.
  • Common Applications: Widely used in general construction, furniture assembly, automotive parts, food processing equipment, and marine applications (above the waterline).
  • Characteristics: Non-magnetic, excellent strength and ductility.
• INOX A4 (AISI 316) Hex Nut:
  • Material Composition: Contains approximately 16% Chromium, 10% Nickel, and 2-3% Molybdenum. The addition of Molybdenum significantly enhances its corrosion resistance.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Provides superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments, saltwater, and more aggressive chemical settings.
  • Common Applications: Ideal for highly corrosive environments such as marine applications (below the waterline), chemical processing plants, coastal areas, medical equipment, and architectural facades.
  • Characteristics: More corrosion-resistant than A2, slightly more magnetic than A2 but generally considered non-magnetic, excellent strength.
