If a product’s nut needs to be installed externally, and the internal space is limited, preventing a riveting machine’s pressure head from entering, and the traditional “sprout method” (referring to a simple flaring or basic riveting) doesn’t meet strength requirements, then both pressure riveting and swelling riveting are unfeasible. In such scenarios, blind riveting (using rivet nuts) becomes necessary.

Blind rivet nuts are suitable for fastening various thickness plates and pipes. Using a pneumatic or manual rivet gun, they can be riveted in a single step, making them convenient and firm. They replace traditional welding nuts and overcome the issues of thin metal sheets and pipes easily melting during welding, or when welding nuts are unsuitable.

Scope of Product Application

Blind rivet nuts are mainly used in structures requiring bolt connections, such as railway vehicles, road buses, boating, and other interior parts connections. Improved anti-spin rivet nuts are superior to plain plate nuts. Their advantages include lighter weight, no need to rivet the fixed plate, and usability even when there’s no operating space behind the base material, among others.

Materials
